Love this tv, great picture & straightforward menus. best cheap hdtv is the first TV i have bought to replace the elderly i used through college & i could not be happier. The setup is simple & comparatively speedy. The only downside is the necessity to buy 3d glasses, but i honestly didn?t buy best cheap hdtv for the 3d, since i find 3d movies a headache inducing experiance. Even not using the 3d best cheap hdtv is still a great tv for the funds, a LED with 1080p in this size was acutally kind of hard to find & after looking for two weeks this was my most suitable choice.

I recently bought the Sony Bravia EX720 from a local electronics store (& not Amazon, since I prefer to make giant electronic purchases locally in the event I require to quickly return & exchange a defective item). - High quality LED side-lit LCD screen
- True 1080P 3D & Hi-definition capable, but with some limitations
- Colors & contrast are vibrant, one time you take the time to by hand fine-tune the picture settings
- Built-in 3D transmitter; no require to buy the outside transmitter which saves you about $35
- 3D effects are excellent overall, but best results can only be attained by watching 3D Blu Ray movies
- Artifical 3D option in the 3D options works decently & provides an alternative to playing PC games in 3D without having to make use of the NVidia 3D Vision or 3DTV Play drivers; this lets you maintain up to 60fps frame rates without must revert to a 24hz (24fps) refresh rate
- No 3D ghosting evident, but you may require to make manual adjustments to the depth effect ? I needed to do this
