Kendal Castle is a great place to visit, which has the beautiful grounds and beautiful landscapes and views of Kendal town. It is good to find out more about the Castle and how it came to be there and the famous person that Katherine Parr, the sixth and last Queen of Henry VIII. The castle is a large to enjoy a long walk on the hills or forest land area and when you?ve worked up an appetite you can then make a blanket and enjoy a picnic and in landscapes and Kendal views and fill your stomachIf it is with your family or just a romantic lunch for two.
Kendal Museum, expeditions and discussions on this castle and they show displays and reenactments of the Castle and much more history of the town, which is very interesting and informative for you and your family, giving you a great knowledge of the history of not only the Castle but the city and its surroundings. All schools are encouraged to visit the Museum. they offer activities, talks and courses to school children to learn about local and global history. The home of a store that allows people of all ages to delete an object to keep a memory of the visit.
The parish church is a beautiful breath taking building inside and out, it is one of the largest churches in England that keeps up to 1200 people. The inside of the building is clean, fresh and easy with its large colorful window and original features. The Church is surrounded by green lawns and is the riverside as Bravo for photographs if it is a wedding shower or christening or even visit on your holidays. The Church itself is worth having a photo of mainly at night due to its spectacular light leaves it to shine in the right places.
These three areas can be day activities so why not make a weekend and stay in hotels in Kendal or Kendal bed and breakfast that these websites have the best for you and your family. Kendal has some large accommodation that offers different possibilities for different people depending on what they are looking for in a pause. There are a few hotels with leisure facilities. e.g. swimming pool which is good for kids to enjoy and then we have bed and breakfast that offers comfort in silence as the value for money.
