Are you successful with your Internet business? Better yet, do you think you are successful with your online business? I recently read this book How to buy, sell, profit on e-bay by Adam Ginsburg which opened by eyes to how one can start up an internet business on ebay with little or no capital. The benefits of an ebay business as compared to a brick and motar business is in the much lower start up capital and it does away with the need of hoarding goods. The only start up fee would be the listing fees that ebay charges when you publish your item. This is based on a percentage of the sale price of the item, not including shipping fees.
The first step would be deciding what to sell. Again in this, one need not commit to a particular product, but can test the market with one product that he or she decides upon. This can be switched if the product is not selling well. You could decide on your niche market or your target market. For me, i noted that custom made gowns for bridesmaids are expensive in Singapore, but gowns and such were not well bidded for on ebay. Secondly, one needs to be sure about the shipping to other countries. A cursory glance at ebay shows that most sellers and buyers are Americans and it?s more costly for an Asian to purchase from ebay. Asians need to be sure of the shipping price to America too.
Thirdly, remember to read up on the policy and listing of ebay.
