Texans will soon have the opportunity to vote on ten proposed amendments to the Texas Constitution. I encourage you to exercise your right to vote during the upcoming Constitutional Amendment Election on November 8. You can also cast your vote during the early voting period, which starts today (October 24), through November 4.
The proposed constitutional amendments that you will find on your ballot affect all Texans, particularly with respect to public education funding, water projects, higher education financial aid, veterans? property taxes, and local redevelopment. As such, I strongly encourage you to closely consider the arguments ?for? and ?against? each proposition before visiting the polls.
To assist you in forming your opinion, you may wish to reference the constitutional amendment election summary compiled by the Texas Legislative Council, a nonpartisan research group, by clicking here: Analyses of Proposed Constitutional Amendments.

You can also click here to find your voting location on the day of the election (November 8).
