The CrossFit Kids and Teens program will end at the end of November for the foreseeable future. Todd has done an outstanding job as the coach running this program out of RCF but as he heads back to school on his first step to a new career he's decided that he'll be unable to continue doing both.
?
We wish him luck with his new endeavor!
?
Teens (13 and above) are welcome to continue at RCF with their parent/s. Teens have always been welcome here and we've, for years, suceesfully coached teens in the general CrossFit setting. Is it ideal, no, but it's a workable solution and we've had much experience and success with our high school athletes in and out of their competitive seasons. Of course, not every teen competes in sports in high school and for those that don't a straight-forward CrossFit program is fun and challenging.?
?
There are a lot of options for kids who will be losing a really fun, important activity in their routine. Gymnastics, swimming, martial arts, dance, and loosely organized team sports :) come to mind. Of course what we want for all of our kids is a well rounded, FUN expereince. For my kids, we'll see you at the pool!?
If you have any questions please feel free to contact (email, FB, in person) Kurtis, Laurie, or Todd. None of us have taken this decision lightly and we're happy to talk with you about it.
