Gift Tax (Property Transfer) - English Forum Switzerland

If an overseas property is owned by Swiss tax residents, and that property is transferred between spouses - is there any tax liability here in Switzerland for that transfer?

(I checked in the other country, and there usually would be - but as we are not tax resident there, they say it is only due back in home country. But as spouses here are considered a single tax entity, maybe there is no tax due at all?)
